Bank Account
Bank Accounts in YousrERP represent the actual bank accounts held by your company. Each bank account is linked to an account in the Chart of Accounts and is used for payment entries and reconciliation.
Adding a Bank Account
- Go to Accounting > Bank Account and click New.
- Enter the Account Name (e.g., "Al Rajhi Bank - Current Account").
- Select the Company.
- Select the Account (from the Chart of Accounts — typically under Assets > Bank Accounts).
- Enter the Bank name and Bank Account Number.
- Set the Currency (SAR for Saudi Arabia).
- Optionally set:
- IBAN: International Bank Account Number
- Branch Code: Bank branch identifier
- SWIFT Code: For international transfers
- Click Save.
Bank Account Types
- Current Account: Day-to-day operational account
- Savings Account: Interest-bearing deposit account
- Loan Account: Bank loans and credit facilities
- Investment Account: For investments and fixed deposits
Integration with Transactions
Bank Accounts are used in:
- Payment Entries: Select the bank account for receiving or making payments
- Payment Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements against recorded transactions
- Bank Reports: View balances and transaction history per bank account
Multiple Bank Accounts
You can set up as many bank accounts as your company holds. Each appears as a separate record with its own balance and transaction history. This is common for Saudi businesses maintaining accounts at multiple banks.
