Sales Invoice
A Sales Invoice is the bill you send to a customer for goods or services provided. It records the revenue, tax (VAT), and the amount the customer owes you.

Creating a Sales Invoice
- Go to Selling > Sales Invoice and click New.
- Select the Customer.
- Set the Posting Date and Due Date.
- Add items or services sold:
- Item Code, Quantity, Rate
- Add Taxes and Charges (VAT).
- Click Save and Submit.

Creating from Sales Order or Delivery Note
Sales Invoices can be created from:
- Sales Order: Click Create > Sales Invoice (billing before delivery).
- Delivery Note: Click Create > Sales Invoice (billing after delivery).
The items, quantities, and rates are pre-filled from the source document.
Sales Invoice Status

Accounting Impact
A Sales Invoice posts:
- Debit: Accounts Receivable (customer owes you)
- Credit: Sales Revenue (income account)
- Credit: VAT Output (tax liability to government)
Saudi E-Invoicing (ZATCA)
