Price Lists

A Price List is a collection of item prices. You can maintain multiple price lists for different markets, customer groups, or currencies.

Creating a Price List

  1. Go to Selling > Price List and click New.
  2. Enter a Price List Name (e.g., "Retail SAR", "Wholesale USD", "VIP Pricing").
  3. Select the Currency (SAR for Saudi Arabia).
  4. Check Enabled and Buying/Selling as applicable.
  5. Click Save.

Adding Item Prices

After creating a Price List, add item prices:

  1. Open the Price List.
  2. Click Add Item Price or go to Stock > Item Price.
  3. Select the Item Code.
  4. Enter the Rate (unit price).
  5. Select the Price List.
  6. Set Valid From / Valid Till if prices have an effective period.
  7. Click Save.

Common Price List Strategies

Strategy Example
Retail vs Wholesale Retail: SAR 100, Wholesale: SAR 75
Geographic Pricing Riyadh: SAR 100, Jeddah: SAR 95
VIP/Preferred Pricing Standard: SAR 100, VIP: SAR 85
Currency-Based SAR: SAR 100, USD: $27
Seasonal Pricing Normal: SAR 100, Ramadan: SAR 80

Default Price Lists

Set default price lists at different levels:

  • Company: Global default in Company master
  • Customer: Default price list for each customer
  • Transaction: Can be changed on individual Sales Orders

Price List in Transactions

When creating a Sales Order or Quotation:

  1. Select the Customer (the customer's default price list is auto-selected).
  2. Add items (prices are fetched from the price list).
  3. Prices can be overridden if permissions allow.
