Tasks
Tasks are the building blocks of projects — individual activities that need to be completed. Tasks can have dependencies, due dates, priorities, and assigned team members.
Creating a Task
- Go to Projects > Task and click New.
- Enter the Subject (task title).
- Select the Project this task belongs to.
- Set task details:
- Status: Open, Working, Pending Review, Completed, Cancelled
- Priority: Low, Medium, High, Urgent
- Assigned To: Who will complete the task
- Due Date: When the task must be finished
- Optionally add:
- Expected Time: Estimated hours to complete
- Completion Date: Actual end date
- Dependencies: Tasks that must be completed first (depends on)
- Description: Detailed task description
- Attachments: Related files and documents
- Click Save.
Task Status

Task Dependencies
Set up task ordering:
- Depends On: Task A must be completed before Task B can start.
- Creates a linked task chain.
- Helpful for project scheduling and identifying critical paths.
Task Views
- List View: Tabular list with filters and sorting
- Kanban Board: Drag tasks between status columns
- Calendar View: See tasks by due date
- Gantt Chart: Visual timeline with dependencies (from the Project)
Task Reporting
- Task Summary: Tasks by status, assignee, project
- Task Analytics: Completion rate, overdue tasks
- Time Analysis: Planned vs actual time spent
